We are approaching 50 years of existence and continuous growth. With very strong clients in constant growth that require more and more product. Our production process is based on fermentation, which presents a challenge when it comes to needing to grow exponentially with efficiency and quality in the midst of an increase in the regulatory environment in food preparation. For this reason, we decided to take the great leap of starting a Lean Sigma transformation process. We believe that fermentation is an ideal way of preserving food without the use of preservatives that have harmful effects on health. We want to be able to offer our clients at all levels a quality chili pepper with a label free of artificial preservatives and with all the flavor of a habanero, a cayenne, a tabasco or a natural jalapeño.

The Lean Sigma transformation is one of the most effective strategies to increase efficiency, reduce waste and improve quality in all operations. By combining the principles of “Lean” (focused on eliminating waste) with “Six Sigma” methodologies (seeking to reduce defects and improve processes).

The strategy is to foster a culture of continuous improvement, aligned with customer needs and business objectives. Calling on all employees to participate in a process where inefficiencies, bottlenecks and areas of waste are identified. A continuous-improvement mentality is encouraged at all levels and tools and methodologies are used to optimize work flows. And the practice of constant monitoring through KPIs is established, seeking sustainability and continuous improvement.

We seek greater efficiency, better quality, greater customer satisfaction, greater commitment from all employees and the use of real-time data to make decisions.

Customer sustainability confirms that our chili is of high quality: the spiciness of our habanero, the flavor of our jalapeños and the smoothness of our cayenne are all highly sought after. Without a doubt, both historical and new clients deserve that we do everything possible to satisfy their needs with high quality and efficiency.
